Nicola Lo Calzo - Regla

Since 2010, Nicola Lo Calzo has been exploring African diasporas and postcolonial memories with his project "Cham." In 2015 and 2016, he conducted research in Cuba on Afro-Cuban heritage, such as the Regla de Ocha and the Regla Abakuá, which refer to secret societies and polytheistic beliefs originating in Africa. The images presented in the book are the result of immersion in marginalized spaces, formerly clandestine but now tolerated.
